Feature of nitinol wire 

1. Shape memory effect: It can remember preset shapes and automatically recover when heated to a transition temperature (such as body temperature), commonly used in medical devices.
2. Super elasticity: can withstand large deformations (>20%) at room temperature and restore to its original state, with excellent fatigue resistance.
3. Corrosion resistance: superior to medical grade stainless steel, suitable for environments such as body fluids and seawater.
4. Biocompatibility: Non toxic, widely used in human implants.
5. High damping: Significant shock absorption and noise reduction effect.

Chemical content

• Chemical composition: Nickel (54-57%), titanium (balance), small amounts of impurities such as iron and copper.
• Physical properties: Density 6.45 g/cm ³, melting point 1250 ℃, hardness 300-400HV, non-magnetic.
• Phase transition temperature: can be controlled by composition and heat treatment (such as As/Af temperature range).
